Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake and PostgreSQL data models, schemas, and queries.
- Develop ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and process large datasets efficiently.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data platforms.
- Optimize database performance by analyzing query execution plans and implementing indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies.
- Work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and BI teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
- Implement data governance best practices, including security, compliance, and auditing mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and provide tuning recommendations.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud-based data warehousing and database technologies.
- 5 years of experience in Azure Databricks, Python, Etl.
- Strong expertise in Pyspark, including data warehousing concepts, Snowflake SQL, and performance tuning.
- In-depth experience with PostgreSQL, including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
- Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines using tools like Git, Jenkins, or Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
