Requirements

2+ years of experience as a C++ developer

Formal education in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Good knowledge of C++ 11 (at least)

Good knowledge of STL and algorithms

Knowledge of computer science and understanding of OOP principles, both in theory and in practice

Knowledge of multithreading and interprocess communication

General understanding of DSP (digital signal processing) concepts

Basic experience with Qt framework

Ability to become familiar with unknown codebase in reasonable time;

Knowledge of OS concepts

Experience using task/bug-tracking tools, such as JIRA

Experience using Git

Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Ability to work as part of the team, following team rules, coding styles, etc.

Familiarity with the principles of Agile development and experience working as part of a scrum team;

Good written and verbal communication skills in English;

Experience developing real-time audio applications

Embedded development experience

Experience with QML

Ability to design code that is clean, maintainable, reliable, and efficient

Experience writing unit tests and using unit test libraries, like GoogleTest

Experience working with legacy code base

Experience with Boost libraries

Experience with WinAPI

Deep understanding of interprocess communication/multithreading

Audio-related background/hobby

Passion for music, audio or media.

Job responsibilities

Participate in development of one of the world’s best high-end mixing consoles, as well as other audio products.

Extend and maintain existing functionality, add support for new hardware.

Handle both cross-platform (Windows Embedded and Linux) and platform-specific code.

Communicate with product owner and participate in improving requirements, propose new ideas.

Develop user interfaces using both own framework and Qt/QML (with underlying functionality on C++).

Work as part of geographically distributed team, located at Europe and the United States time zones.
