Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for understanding the business requirements for reporting, coordinating with business teams, conceptualizing and designing Power BI dashboards, developing and testing the functionality, presenting to users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and providing ongoing support.

Key Accountabilities

Seamless Integration with SAP HANA:

  • Enhanced Data Integration: Play a key role in integrating data from SAP HANA into existing reporting systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.
  • Advanced Reporting Capabilities: Develop sophisticated dashboards that leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA for advanced reporting and analytics.
  • Support for Business Teams: Provide essential support to business teams as they adjust to the new SAP HANA environment, helping them transition and maximize the benefits of the new system.
  • Future-Proofing Reporting Infrastructure: Ensure that reporting systems are robust, scalable, and capable of handling the increased data volumes and complexity that come with SAP HANA.


Adopt ongoing AI Advancements to Create New Forecasting Models:

  • AI-Driven Forecasting Models: Develop and implement new AI-driven forecasting models that incorporate key business drivers to enhance predictive accuracy and decision-making.


Develop interactive Power BI Dashboards:

  • Understand Business Requirements: Collaborate with business teams to gather and understand their reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications. For example, working with the finance team to develop monthly financial performance reports.
  • Co-ordinate with Business Teams: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on reporting needs and deliverables. An example would be coordinating with the marketing team to track campaign effectiveness through BI dashboards.
  • Conceptualize and Design Power BI Dashboards: Create innovative and effective Power BI dashboard designs that meet business needs and enhance data visualization and user experience. For instance, designing a sales dashboard that provides insights on sales trends and forecasts.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details

  • Develop Power BI Dashboards: Implement the designed dashboards using Power BI, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance standards are met. An example could be developing an HR dashboard to monitor employee performance and turnover rates.
  • Test Functionality: Conduct thorough testing of the Power BI dashboards to identify and resolve any issues or bugs before presenting them to users. For example, testing a supply chain dashboard to ensure accurate data representation and functionality.
  • Present to Users for UAT: Present the developed dashboards to users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and incorporate their feedback for final modifications. This might involve presenting a project management dashboard to the PMO team for their review and feedback.
  • Provide Support: Offer continuous support to users by troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to the Power BI dashboards. An example would be assisting the sales team in resolving data discrepancies in their sales performance dashboard.
  • Ensure Data Accuracy and Quality: Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy in all reporting outputs. For instance, ensuring the financial reports are accurate and up-to-date for monthly review meetings.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.


Relevant Experience

3+ years of experience which includes .

  • Exposure of working as a business analyst using tools like Power BI and other reporting tools
  • ETL design and implementation, reports and dashboard development
  • Data Modelling, Dashboard development tools, DAX etc.
