To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering in Chennai, India.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Create Work Instruction for New Product and Update Work Instruction for Engineering Changes, Support Cycle time estimation study and NRE estimation (NRE) estimation for Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation
  • Create Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis for New product
  • Support for Tools, Jigs & Fixture design for product assembly
  • Support for Design for Manufacturing, Design for mechanical assembly
  • Support for Penalization for PCB fabrication
  • Prepare Daily plan / production down time analysis report
  • Supporting for convert PCB cad files and 3D cad files from one format to another format.
  • Prepare Over all equipment efficiency report (OEE) and Equipment utilization report
  • Perform Multiphysics stimulation

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Skilled in Fixture Tools design softwares like Solidworks, Auto CAD , Creo etc..
  • Should have very good knowledge in Manufacturing tool designing process
  • Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
  • Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.
  • Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
  • Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.
  • Knowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.
  • Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Experience with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban and Lean manufacturing principals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment
  • Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.
  • Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Coaching & mentoring skills.
