Experience: 0.6 – 2 years (Preferred in Australian Accounting)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Timings – Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling daily bookkeeping and accounting operations as per Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
  • Preparing and maintaining Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
  • Managing Bank Reconciliations and ensuring accurate records of cash flow.
  • Recording journal entries for purchases, sales, expenses, depreciation, and GST adjustments.
  • Preparing and assisting in BAS (Business Activity Statement) lodgment and GST
  • Reconciliation.
  • Supporting in Payroll Processing, including Superannuation and PAYG withholding
  • compliance.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Financial Reports and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Communicating with clients and internal teams to gather necessary financial
  • information.
  • Using accounting software like Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks Australia for daily
  • transactions and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with ATO (Australian Taxation Office) regulations.
  • Supporting audit processes and responding to auditor requests

Key Skills Required

  • Good understanding of Australian GST, BAS, and Superannuation.
  • Knowledge of Australian Accounting Principles (AASB standards).
  • Hands-on experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks (AU Version) (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of depreciation, payroll calculations, and bank reconciliation.
  • Good communication skills for client interactions.

Educational Qualification

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA Finance or equivalent.
  • Certification in Xero/MYOB would be an added advantag
