Junior Accountant

Responsibilities:

Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring appropriate approvals and documentation are in place.

Manage communication with vendors and employees to resolve discrepancies, answer queries, and ensure timely payment processing

Oversee the end-to-end AP process, including invoice verification, coding, approval workflows, and payment processing.

Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy of financial records.

Conduct intercompany account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring proper accounting of acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation.

Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile with the asset register

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-2 years of experience within Accounting area

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.

Good knowledge in Excel & Power point presentations
