Requirements
5+ years in Java/J2EE
Very good in problem solving skills and DSA
Experience in Agile methodologies
Experience in AWS Cloud services such as S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
Experience in Python scripting
Experience in NoSQL SQL, Knowledge on Hive will be plus
Great learning attitude
Experience in writing RestFul APIs
Hands-on experience using Git for software version control
Must have worked as part of an Agile scrum team
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Job responsibilities
Be part of a 7-10 engineer scrum team responsible for delivering end-to-end user stories.
Collaborate with user experience designers, product managers, and other talented engineers to deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
Grow in a culture of learning through design discussions and code reviews
Write high quality performant code in Java and similar languages on Linux platform. Write unit tests, functional tests and end-to-end integration tests
Participate in design and code reviews
Define and Implement highly efficient APIs
Be part of an agile scrum team and demonstrate constant progress
Seek opportunities in our day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment
Using your experience with a broad range of technology stacks, platforms and workflow tools to do your best, most efficient work and teach others to do the same
Take high level design and break it down into low level design.
Convert detailed design into code accompanied by unit and functional tests.
Work closely with Product managers, UX design and other engineers in the team to complete the tasks.
Provide level of effort (LoE) estimates.
Troubleshoot issues and bugs.
