About The Role

The ESS Verification Specialist is responsible for conducting thorough employment, education, and reference background checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of information provided by candidates. You will review customized client requirements and deliver precise and timely verification results. This role will require strong data entry, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and both written and verbal communication skills.

What You Will Do


  • Confirm accuracy of provided information in regard to work history, job titles, academic credentials, degrees earned, and institutions attended.
  • Partner with provided reference and interview those individuals about the candidate’s qualifications and reliability.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely to obtain the required information or avenue to obtain the information. Other methods may include fax, email, or online databases.
  • Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines to protect personal and professional data.
  • Prepared details reports summarizing verification findings in an easy to read and grammatically correct fashion.
  • Review the customized scope of work for each client, and partner with the candidates if outlined for missing information. Utilize empathy and understanding to obtain the required information to help them with their pre-employment process.
  • Document all attempts to obtain the verification and assist the account managers or clients in understanding any process around the investigation completed.
  • Actively communicate anticipated delays.
  • Uphold company standards for customer service and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Maintain FCRA Basic Certification.


What You Will Need


  • Graduation or equivalent qualification
  • 1 to 2 years in customer service, call center, or related field, with preference on international calling experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in FCRA is preferred
  • Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills, critical thinking skills, ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, prioritize workload, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Data entry processes
