Overview
Specialist Level Professional. Designs, develops, and integrates complex IT enterprise software solutions with a focus on frameworks, programming, troubleshooting, and debugging IT software issues, aligned with strategic goals and technology needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements as part of the development lifecycle from conception to delivery. Apply best practices to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to other team members as needed.

Responsibilities
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning
- Define and drive technology strategy at the project and enterprise levels.
- Lead the development and implementation of coding standards.
- Collaborate with IT leadership on long-term technology initiatives.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams in strategic planning and execution.
- System Design & Integration
- Manage and lead large-scale development projects.
- Define and implement enterprise-wide coding standards.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Provide technical expertise in solving complex problems.
- System Operations
- Design and implement proactive monitoring solutions.
- Lead efforts to automate routine support tasks.
- Act as a liaison between support and development teams.
- Develop and deliver advanced technical training for the team.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in support processes.
- Mentor
- Mentor colleagues and junior developers in providing technical strategy.
- Enable and guide cross-functional learning and collaboration.
- Knowledge and skills in Salesforce:
- Mastery of Salesforce development tools and technologies.
- Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions.
- Ability to create scalable and maintainable framework.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) for source-driven development.
- Proficiency in advanced integration techniques and third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governance and compliance.
- Familiarity with version control systems for Salesforce.
- Experience with Salesforce Platform Events for event-driven processes.
- Experience in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies.
- Proficiency in advanced integration testing and third-party applications.
- Identify solutions that improve company’s overall technological architecture and business process.
- Communicating the benefits, costs, and risks of projects to upper-level management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitLab or similar; Git/GitHub; Artifactory and adopt DevOps strategies.
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, Source Control (Git) coding best practices.
- Ability to expand skills and knowledge into other IT Applications.
- Ability to adapt communication for effectiveness with business partners and other technical teams.
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
- Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or related technical field, or 12+ years of experience in IT enterprise software development in lieu of degree.
- 8+ years of experience in IT enterprise software development or equivalent experience
