Key Responsibilities
- Manage the godown, ensuring organized and tidy storage of inventory.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, updating stock levels in real-time.
- Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement inventory management processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols in the godown.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting efficient operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Postgraduate/graduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in the agricultural industry or a related field.
- Knowledge of local market trends and regulations.
