Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.
To facilitate the continued growth of our office in Mumbai, we are seeking highly motivated Interns (m/f/d) for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Your Tasks
To facilitate the continued growth of our office in Mumbai, we are seeking highly motivated Interns (m/f/d) for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Your Tasks
- Analyze investment opportunities by reviewing teasers and memoranda to identify promising acquisition targets
- Support financial modeling including valuation, working capital normalization, and debt analysis
- Assist in due diligence through data room reviews, risk identification, and expert call preparation
- Contribute to transaction execution by helping draft offer documents and exit-related materials
- Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Board of Directors as needed
- Successfully completed a degree in Economics (ideally with a specialization in Finance) or similar with outstanding results
- Several completed internships, including experience in investment banking/M&A
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Business fluency in English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
- Work in a highly motivated, international, committed, and agile team that enjoys working together
