Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform for provisioning and configuration management.
• Implement and manage EC2 instances, including lifecycle management, scaling, and optimization.
• Configure and manage application load balancers and ensure efficient traffic distribution.
• Deploy and configure AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall) to protect web applications against common security threats.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices
  
  

and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and implement security best practices to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Conduct security assessments and participate in incident response and resolution activities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience working with AWS services and infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform for automating provisioning and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and managing application load balancers (ELB/ALB/NLB).
• Experience implementing and managing AWS WAF or similar web application firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms (EKS, ECS).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and monitoring tasks.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive problem resolution.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect/AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR) and their implementation in AWS environments.
