Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degre in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience in public accounting or other large public company.
  • Knowledge of accounting and reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 financial system and ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments in a fluid environment.
  • Ability to work with teams cross-functionally with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the in-house-bank monthly intercompany booking, reconciliation and other intercompany close activities.
  • Conduct flux analysis and present quarter-end results to management.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and work to centralize, streamline, or automate activities.
  • Review processes, document steps, and implement controls to ensure risk mitigation for Alphabet.
  • Prepare for and assist with internal, SOX, and external audits and work with cross-functional global teams to advocate standard procedures and execute on team and Alphabet Finance Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
