Job Description

An Insurance Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales team, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Set and monitor sales goals, quotas, and performance metrics.
  • Team Management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Sales Process Improvement: Analyze sales performance data and identify areas for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends. Analyze competitor activities.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics. Develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Compliance: Ensure sales activities adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record in sales management and leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
