Overview

Job Description

  • This role is responsible for assisting with implementing monitoring configuring troubleshooting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests related to basic systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner with direct oversight from team members for guidance on how to apply best practices in problem resolution
  • Assist with projects involving installations upgrades and modernization of servers and systems
  • Assist with audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards policies and configuration guidelines
  • Provide support for Infrastructure systems such as server maintenance storage networking database administration network security messaging directory services server virtualization monitoring etc.
  • Compose internal documentation with direct oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configuration
  • Grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
  • Participate in the maintenance testing and execution of the disaster recovery plan

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of principles of systems administration
  • Speak or write with ease clarity and impact using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to write concise logical grammatically correct documentation
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings weekends etc.)
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
  • Up to 10% travel time required

Basic Qualifications
