- This role is responsible for assisting with implementing monitoring configuring troubleshooting and maintaining the IT Infrastructure.
- Respond to requests related to basic systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner with direct oversight from team members for guidance on how to apply best practices in problem resolution
- Assist with projects involving installations upgrades and modernization of servers and systems
- Assist with audits of servers and environment to ensure compliance with established standards policies and configuration guidelines
- Provide support for Infrastructure systems such as server maintenance storage networking database administration network security messaging directory services server virtualization monitoring etc.
- Compose internal documentation with direct oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configuration
- Grow knowledge and be aware of best practices and market trends
- Participate in the maintenance testing and execution of the disaster recovery plan
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of principles of systems administration
- Speak or write with ease clarity and impact using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
- Demonstrated ability to write concise logical grammatically correct documentation
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings weekends etc.)
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job
- Up to 10% travel time required
