Responsibilities
Design and implement complex network infrastructures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN) in Azure Cloud ensuring high availability and security. Lead network security initiatives including firewall configurations VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Manage and optimize load balancing solutions using platforms like Citrix NetScaler F5 or Azure Load Balancer. Oversee cloud networking operations in Azure including VPC design routing and hybrid connectivity. Collaborate with storage teams to ensure network integration with SAN/NAS systems including performance tuning and redundancy. Automate network tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and implement proactive measures to prevent outages. Lead disaster recovery planning and network failover strategies. Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and SOPs.
