Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 6 to 10 years of experience in SQL Server Database and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure high performance availability and security. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data infrastructure which supports various business functions and contributes to our overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize SQL Server databases to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of database systems.
  • Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive information.
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery plans to safeguard data.
  • Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on database-related topics.
  • Lead efforts to automate routine database tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in database technologies and incorporate them into the infrastructure.
  • Document all database processes and procedures for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server Database and SQL.
  • Have experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in database security best practices.
  • Show ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills with development teams.
  • Have experience with backup and recovery procedures.
  • Display knowledge of industry standards and best practices for database management.
  • Be capable of conducting regular data integrity audits.

Certifications Required

  • MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: AZURE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR ASSOCIATE SQL SERVER CERTIFICATION
