Business Analyst Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct research and analysis to identify business trends and business opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines for implementing business solutions
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements and processes
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Support the development and implementation of new systems and processes
- Perform data analysis using various tools and methodologies
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure business requirements are met
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Maintain and update project documentation as needed
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure successful project delivery

Business Analyst Qualifications & Skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role
- Strong understanding of business processes and project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team – self-starter and self-driven
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Ability to think critically and analytically
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar) is good to have
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools

- Strong understanding of business process modeling and workflow analysis
