Responsibilities: As a Senior Consultant specializing in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and/or ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) for Utilities at PwC, you will be a key member of a team of problem solvers, aiding clients in navigating complex business challenges from strategy through execution. Key responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to the following:

• Project Scope Management: Understand project scope, schedules, deliverables, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. • Requirements Gathering: Engage in discussions with clients to gather requirements and analyze these to design optimal SCADA/ADMS solutions. • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various stakeholders such as SCADA/ADMS software providers, implementation partners, and other relevant parties. • Documentation: Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPR) and monitor progress against these documents. • Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS): Collaborate with Module Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to prepare Functional Requirement Specifications. • Program Management: Oversee end-to-end program management, including project initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure. • Solution Design: Design SCADA/ADMS solutions in line with industry best practices and ensure they meet business requirements. • Real-Time Data Management: Ensure the quality and integrity of real-time data and its integration with other enterprise systems.

• System Monitoring and Control: Develop and implement strategies for effective system monitoring, control, and optimization.

Mandatory skill sets: • SCADA/ADMS Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and experience with SCADA and/or ADMS platforms, such as GE, Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, or similar. • Utilities Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the utilities industry, especially electric, gas, and water distribution systems. • Implementation Experience: Experience in the analysis, planning, and driving the implementation of SCADA/ADMS solutions. • Lifecycle Knowledge: Understanding of the SCADA/ADMS implementation lifecycle, including system design, configuration, testing, and commissioning. • System Integration: Experience in integrating SCADA/ADMS with other enterprise systems like GIS, ERP, or CRM.

Preferred skill sets: • Technical Infrastructure Understanding: Understanding of IT infrastructure requirements related to SCADA/ADMS implementation will be an added advantage. • Proposal Evaluation: Experience in the evaluation of proposals/bids for SCADA/ADMS solutions. • Bid Process Management: Experience in bid process management for SCADA/ADMS or related IT solution procurement. • Advanced Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and practices specific to SCADA/ADMS systems. • Programming and Scripting: Experience with programming languages and scripting for SCADA/ADMS customization and automation. • Real-Time Data Analytics: Knowledge of real-time data analytics and its application in system optimization.

Years of experience required: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SCADA and/or ADMS, with a focus on utilities.

Education qualification: B.Tech in any stream from recognized university + MBA (preferable)
