Job Overview

Reliance Retail is seeking a Senior HSE Manager for the Beverages division, located in Surat. This full-time role involves ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in health and safety management and environmental compliance, and be capable of delivering professional safety training.

Qualifications And Skills

• Proven experience in health and safety management ensuring workplace safety practices and initiatives are in place and effective. (Mandatory skill)
• In-depth knowledge of environmental compliance to maintain and improve environmental performance. (Mandatory skill)
• Excellent skills in training delivery to educate staff and maintain a culture of safety and environmental awareness. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong ability in risk assessment to identify potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively.
• Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance to ensure all activities meet local and national safety standards.
• Emergency response planning to establish immediate and effective response procedures for any workplace emergencies.
• Proficiency in EHS reporting to accurately document and communicate safety performance metrics and compliance status.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across the Beverages division.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Lead risk assessments and enforce preventative measures to control workplace hazards.
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees.
• Monitor and report on the compliance and efficiency of health, safety, and environmental systems to leadership.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to safety and environmental legislation.
• Promote and sustain an organizational culture that emphasizes the importance of health, safety, and environmental protection.
