Key job responsibilities
Essential Roles And Responsibilities
- Managers collaborate with the HR Partners (HRP) to support sensitive and often complex employee issues including disciplinary, performance improvement and grievance processes. These channels can include 1:1s, multiple stakeholder meetings, as well as scalable learning formats to educate Managers on relevant people matters. The HRP acts as an influential partner in helping managers with talent and performance management processes, people development, HR policies and implementation of organizational changes. HR Partners spot trends, identify emerging needs and address them in collaboration with the appropriate business and HR stakeholders.
- Performance Management: Work with people managers through performance management cases. Analyze data and trends on Employee Relations and performance management, in order to provide input to the business strategy with the relevant HR Business Partner to prevent the recurrence of known issues.
- Employee Relations: Consult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislation, across multiple countries.
- HR General: Act as stewards of the employee experience and Amazon’s culture. Act as subject matter expert for people tools, processes, programs or projects. Design and deliver Manager Education initiatives to further drive collective education and manager effectiveness. Analyze data and observations across the organization, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate.
- Change Management: Manage employees’ programs and support managers and HR leaders to drive improvements in employee experience. Provide support to HR Business Partners and the business on change initiatives
- HRBP: Apply business knowledge to work with management team and the PXT team to develop and drive organization and people strategies, solutions and plans. Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on talent development and performance management. Review and analyze business and people metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements. Work with leaders, line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.

- Bachelor's Degree from accredited university.
- 2+ year Amazon experience, with 1-year human resources generalist experience OR applicable operations/customer service experience.
Degree in HR, HR Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology or a related field.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Payroll Systems and/or HRIS.
- Ability to demonstrate highly effective cognitive and analytical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
- Ability to demonstrate high judgment, empathy, autonomy and flexibility.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits and employee issues as an employee in Human Resources.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and when given a deadline, you know how to motivate yourself and meet it.
