Who We Are Looking For

The Human Resource Generalist will report to the Director, Human Resources and is responsible for the daily operational functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including onboarding, administering pay, benefits, leave requests , and enforcement of company policies and practices.

What You’ll Be Doing as A Part of Our Team

  • Employee On-boarding/Off-boarding– Organize and manage on-boarding, responds to ex-employee verifications, new employee orientation and training programs. Oversees termination process, ensures all F&F processes are taken care of as per compliance. Runs turnover reports etc.
  • HRIS System & Reporting – Assists with data maintenance, data entry, and integrity of the data in the HRIS and payroll systems. Runs reports routinely or as necessary to analyse data for ongoing issues, projects or functions. May assist as needed with implementation or upgrading of new HR system modules as needed (i.e. performance management, recruiting, on-boarding, LMS).
  • HR Administration: Maintain and handle employee records as well as HR documentation, and using HR software for various administrative tasks.
  • Compensation & Benefits – Performs all administrative duties involved in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll and works closely with finance and/or outsourced vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and other claims.
  • Administers organization benefits programs and addresses queries related to compensation & benefits. Responsible for benefits (Health Insurance, Provident Fund etc) administration for all employees.
  • Employee Relations – Maintains good communication and a positive relationship with employees by implementing best practices and programs. Handles employee complaints, manages grievance procedures and facilitates counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders.
  • HR Compliance – Implements and administers the human resources policies and procedures and ensures that practices are compliant with statutory requirements and guidelines.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


What You Should Have To Qualify

  • Minimum 4+ years experience as an HR Generalist
  • BBM with HR certification OR Masters Degree in HR or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations and detailed documentation.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.


Ideally, You Would Also Have These

  • Experience working in a US-based GCC in the US Healthcare industry or a SaaS Technology company is an advantage.
  • HR certification is preferred but not required
