Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Assistant to join our growing human resources team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about human resources and want to contribute to a positive and productive work environment. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to HR operations and assist in various employee-related functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Onboarding:
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Payroll Assistance:
Assist in preparing and processing payroll, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Training & Development:
Coordinate and support employee training programs, ensuring employees have the tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
Benefits Administration:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave management, and other employee perks.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, and assist in preparing for audits as needed.
Employee Relations:
Provide general support for employee relations matters, including addressing employee inquiries and resolving minor conflicts in collaboration with HR team members.
HR Reporting:
Assist in preparing HR reports related to employee performance, turnover, and other HR metrics.
General HR Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the HR team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HR principles and employment law.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
