Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Plan, manage, direct, and organize all operational activities including housekeeping, property management, and facilities management, to ensure that the highest levels of service quality and guest satisfaction can be achieved
- Effectively achieve and maintain the established standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-the-house areas
- Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding service quality and effective management of property facilities, and equipment and take corrective actions to maintain the essential level of quality delivery
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels in order to consistently provide excellent guest service
- Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction
- Inspect guest and public areas on a regular basis to ensure that the furnishings, facilities, and equipment are clean and in good working condition. This would require traveling to multiple properties within the zone regularly
- Ensure that preventative maintenance of furniture, carpeting, equipment, and supplies is an ongoing process
- Ensure that the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and safety are practiced in all areas of the properties
- Ensure to maintenance of appropriate grooming standards in hygiene, uniforms, appearance, posture, and conduct of the housekeeping and property staff
- Inspect all renovation projects and ensure rooms/public areas are defect-free prior to release & coordinate all repairs & refurbishments
- Ensure to maintenance department budget is within established guidelines and explain monthly variances
