Key Skills & Requirements
- GIS Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with both ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS platforms.
- Remote Sensing & Image Analysis: Skilled in satellite imagery processing, classification, change detection, and tools like SNAP and Google Earth Engine (GEE).
- Spatial Analysis & Modeling: Expertise in advanced geoprocessing workflows and spatial model development.
- Database Management: Strong experience in handling spatial databases, particularly using PostGIS.
- Programming & Automation: Proficient in Python for automation/scripting and SQL for database operations.
- Web GIS Development: Experience in building interactive web maps using JavaScript and web mapping libraries.
- Cartography & Visualization: Ability to produce clear, professional, and publication-ready maps.
- Data Integration & QA/QC: Skilled in collecting, merging, and validating datasets from multiple sources, including Excel.
- Drone Data Processing: Familiarity with UAV/Drone photogrammetry and processing workflows.
- Cloud GIS Platforms: Exposure to cloud-based GIS environments like GEE and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise.
