What we’re looking for

• Lead and mentor engineering team to achieve project goals and ensure Engineering Excellence.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to drive team performance and professional growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and execution of solar, wind and BESS energy projects from conception to deployment.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments, including project management, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company’s engineering practices are state-of-the-art.
• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve engineering challenges and optimize system performance.
• Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, resource allocation, and strategic planning efforts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance project delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure engineering solutions meet or exceed expectations.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build and maintain professional relationships and enhance the company’s reputation.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of engineering work.
  
  

Applicant requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field),Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering management, in a leadership role within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale engineering projects and teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of solar, wind and BESS systems, technologies and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and manage complex projects effectively.
• Proficiency in engineering softwares, project management tools, and data analysis.
