Purpose Of The Role
The General Manager - Digital IT (Marketing & Sales Solutions) will lead the strategy, development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT solutions supporting Tata Motors' Marketing and Sales functions. This role is critical in driving digital transformation across these key business areas, enhancing customer experience, optimizing sales processes, and improving marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful IT solutions in a complex, global organization.
Job Responsibility
Strategy & Planning:
10-15 Years of experience (Min 10 years’ experience in Enterprise IT)
Proven track record of leading and managing large-scale IT projects
Deep understanding of CRM, marketing automation, sales force automation, dealer management systems, and other relevant technologies
Should be ready to be based out of Pune or Mumbai
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills & Competencies
Experience in Adobe Magento commerce, or Adobe suite, Salesforce or any other Marketing tools would be good.

Job Responsibility
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap for Marketing and Sales, aligned with the overall business strategy and digital transformation goals.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve marketing campaigns, sales processes, customer engagement, and dealer network management.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging technologies and trends.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for Marketing and Sales IT solutions.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new IT solutions, including CRM, marketing automation, sales force automation, dealer management systems, and analytics platforms.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners.
- Ensure that all solutions are secure, scalable, and meet business requirements.
- Implement robust project management methodologies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of existing Marketing and Sales IT systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all systems.
- Manage a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting these systems.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and data privacy laws.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
- Manage IT risk and ensure business continuity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and other relevant departments.
- Effectively communicate IT initiatives and their impact on the business.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and priorities.
