The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst works under the general direction of the Supervisor/Lead Fund Analyst and as per procedures laid down to perform monthly and periodic functional reporting tasks according to documented standards. The Analyst will have duties related to services and/or support for internal and external customers.

The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst works under the general direction of the Supervisor/Lead Fund Analyst and as per procedures laid down to perform monthly and periodic functional reporting tasks according to documented standards. The Analyst will have duties related to services and/or support for internal and external customers.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of Senior Analyst - Financial Reporting?
- Prepares and/or reviews monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements of basic to moderate complexity funds and other reporting documents for GAAP, industry and client requirements.
- Prepares and/or reviews daily, weekly and monthly fund closing NAV packages including related supporting schedules and reconciliations on expenses accruals, rate of returns, capital activity, liquidity terms and asset allocations for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare and/or review periodic reports for investors, Boards of Directors/Trustees/Audit Committees.
- Assists Supervisor/Lead Fund Analyst in the year end audit process, compilation of data for Regulatory reporting and tax filings to service providers for tax return preparation by service providers.
- Prepares trade tickets and facilitates processing for investments into underlying funds or securities and prepares schedules related to the payment of fund operating expenses, distributions and investor redemptions.
- Works with GFAR Hyderabad and US team to ensure reports are accurate and received per timetables and ensures resolution of matters identified in the Funds reporting cycle.
- Actively participates in transitions and ensure smooth transition of tasks within the specified timeline.
- Perform ad-hoc reports/requests/assignments as required by GFAR groups/clients/senior management.
- Participate in department projects as required.
- Provide input regarding workflow improvements, participate in inter-department committees and make recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or Inter CA/ CWA.
- Knowledge of sound accounting principles and standards.
- Requires minimum of three to five years of financial reporting experience with an emphasis on the preparation of financial statements and accompanying supporting schedules.
