Manager - Accounts Receivable/Collections

Experience Level: 10+ years

Job Summary:

EY Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for Accounts Receivable/Collections role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and accounting, with extensive experience in managing billing teams and deep reconciliation expertise. This role requires a hands-on approach to billing and collections, as well as a commitment to process improvement and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee direct billing and accounting month-end close processes.
• Manage and lead billing teams, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output.
• Conduct deep reconciliations and maintain accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting and account management teams to ensure best practices are followed.
• Identify inefficiencies within the team and implement effective solutions to improve processes.
• Maintain a strong understanding of revenue recognition and invoicing processes.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders, flagging potential issues before they escalate.
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing a team, demonstrating successful leadership and team development.
• Extensive background in accounting and billing, with a focus on reconciliations.
• Familiarity with billing subscription models and experience with Salesforce or NetSuite (and JIRA).
• Strong technical proficiency in accounting principles and invoicing procedures.
