Frontend Architect (ReactJS)

smartSense Solutions is looking for an experienced Front-end Architect (ReactJS) who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and defining front-end architectures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ReactJS, UI/UX best practices, component-driven development, and performance optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can guide front-end development and mentor the engineering team while implementing best practices, design patterns, and architectural decisions.

• Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and modular front-end solutions for complex web applications.
• Define and implement best practices for UI development, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
• Develop and optimize high-performance ReactJS components and front-end frameworks.
• Lead the technical vision for front-end architecture, including state management, caching strategies, and micro-frontends.
• Work closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to translate requirements into seamless user experiences.
• Establish coding standards, review guidelines, and documentation for front-end projects.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Evaluate and integrate modern front-end tools, libraries, and frameworks to improve development workflows.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications to ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerize front-end applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to front-end developers in the team.

• 7+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead role.
• Expert-level proficiency in ReactJS, Redux (or alternative state management libraries like Zustand, Recoil, or MobX).
• Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/ES7+), HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js), micro-frontends, and component-based architectures.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, REST API design, and integration best practices.
• Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers like Webpack, Babel, Gulp, or Vite.
• Strong understanding of modern authentication & authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO).
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and TDD methodologies using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques, lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS (S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS).
• Strong knowledge of Git version control (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Hands-on experience with React Native for mobile development.
• Understanding of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs).
• Familiarity with Headless CMS platforms.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for front-end applications.
• Exposure to design systems and UI component libraries like Material-UI, Chakra UI, or Ant Design.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and guide best practices.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end development.

Minimum 7+ years of real-world experience in ReactJS development, with at least 3 years in front-end architecture roles.
