Job Title: Front Desk Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations including check-ins/check-outs, addressing guests' queries, maintaining guest records, housekeeping coordination, etc.
• Handle guest interactions in person as well as through email correspondence.
• Manage staff interactions and coordination with housekeeping staff and external vendors.
• Ensure quality control and maintenance of hostel facilities.
• Manage back-office systems and processes to maintain smooth operations.
• Adhere to financial and accounting standards, including maintaining daily accounts.
• Stay informed about the activities and events happening within the hostel and around the city to offer recommendations to guests.
• Ensure guests have an enjoyable stay, converting their satisfaction into great reviews.
• Execute all tasks as required and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Experience: At least 1 year in the service industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proactive, self-starter, and willing to take initiative and risks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong team management and interpersonal skills.
• Educational background in Hospitality or Hotel Management (Mandatory).
