Job Description – Subject Matter Expert (SAT English & Math)

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (or final year) in Mathematics, English, Education, or a related field.

Exam Experience:

• Must have taken or trained students for SAT/ACT/GRE or similar standardized exams.

Work Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in SAT content creation, teaching, or tutoring (preferably for international students).

Skill Requirements

For Math SME:

• Strong knowledge of SAT Math: Algebra, Advanced Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Data Analysis.
• Proficient in solving and explaining both multiple-choice and grid-in questions.
• Comfortable using digital tools and calculators.

For English SME:

• Expertise in SAT Reading & Writing: comprehension, grammar, sentence structure, and rhetoric.
• Ability to design evidence-based questions with detailed explanations.

General Skills (Both roles):

• Excellent written communication and question creation skills.
• Familiarity with digital content tools and SAT adaptive test patterns.
• High attention to detail and originality in content.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality SAT-style questions and solutions for Math or English.
• Review and refine content to ensure alignment with the latest SAT format.
• Maintain accuracy, clarity, and originality in all content.
• Collaborate with academic and editorial teams for quality assurance.
• Stay updated with global SAT trends and changes in exam patterns.
