This position reports to

Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and optimize business outcomes.

The work model for the role is: - Onsite, - Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Financial Planning and Analysis in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Handling the inspection of business performance versus plan and proposing improvement actions.

Performing benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry contestant and similar businesses within ABB.

• Performing inspection of business performance versus Plan and forecast.
• Performing month end closing activities and MIS reports for the respective business / functions.
• Working with the other financial professionals in Divisions / Hubs / Countries / functions to understand and inspect.

• Inspection of overhead under / over absorption indicating root cause.
• Performing cost / benefit study and examine of inventories, NWC
• Preparing ad-hoc reports as per business / function’s request.
• Preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning & forecasting and

• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliation and review of exceptions
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• 3- 5 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Hands on experience in SAP FICO modules preferred
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a Finance and/or Accounting. CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Thorough / detail oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills.
