Finance Specialist

Position Title: Finance Specialist

Reports To: Manager Finance Regional Support

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

• Key user of one or more common application (examples: SARA, SAP, …)
• First line support to resolve application topics
• Be the network into second and third line support organisation(s)
• Participate in implementation projects of new organizations, processes and systems
• Support in roll-out of new releases - testing, evaluation and modification of local procedures
• Work together with process managers to perform process and system evaluations to improve
• business operations
• Support audits (tax, accounting, SICS, government)
• Application maintenance, support and master data mgmt. System specific, such as:
• Monthly closing of various modules within the SARA Masterpiece systems
• Perform daily correction of errors
• Create standard web queries for recurring use at organization level
• Contributor in spreading knowledge about our standardised process and thereby contact with
• global Finance Academy
• Drive in implementing best practices and identifying improvement areas within the region
• Driving process harmonization and standardization within a region while securing content of service delivery
• Pro-actively support Finance Operation in keeping systems and tools up- to-date
  
  

Competencies:

• Understanding of Finance processes, process development and improvement
• Deep understanding in Financial applications used by SKF Strong analytical and PC (Microsoft Excel) skills
• Continuous improvement mind-set
• Service oriented approach and excellent communication skills
• Extended networking and teaming skills
  
  

Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years of university studies within Computer science, business administration or Finance
• 2+ years hands on experience with SKF Common Financial Systems or similar
