We are seeking a Finance Assistant for our Mumbai, India office. We are looking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

Collections:

  • Follow up of outstanding invoices with clients via our collections portal
  • Monitor inboxes associated with collections and cash applications
  • Payment reconciliations and research
  • Provide back up for invoices and payments to clients and partners
  • Coordinate client inquiries/disputes through our payment portal
  • Distribution bounced email notification and obtain corrected address data.
  • Completion of vendor paperwork
  • AR Credits
  • Processing client refunds

Cash Applications:

  • Payment entry (Reprocessing payments) – Lockbox/Bank Statements/Portal
  • Partner notifications of payments/unallocated – issue with applications
  • AR clearings
  • Reverse and Reallocate (Reset and Reversal – reprocessing)
  • Reversal notification (Lockbox/ACH & Wires) – reversal from the system
  • Supplying backup for client refunds.
  • GL coding
  • Supplying GL coding backup
  • Write-off approvals
  • Write-off reversals
  • All facet offsets processing – Reversals; CC payments; Portal; Uploads;
  • iVanti monitoring.
  • Unallocated monitoring.
  • Payment research Elite/SAP/invoices, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 2+ years of equivalent experience
