Job Description

The Junior Level Accountant is responsible for supporting the overall accounts payable process, General Ledger and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices in concur, managing vendor monthly reconciliation and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong basic accounting knowledge with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of accounting and financial principles.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Process the invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Reconcile vendor statements, Supplier advance schedule and resolve any discrepancies
  • Overall handing of Accounts payable, Import related documentation
  • Timely preparation and process of GR waiver & request to get bank’s statement for Visa processing
  • Verify timely submission of invoices in concur by respective users and need to clear the GRNI inventory clearing account on monthly basis
  • Co-ordination of uploading documents in Bank Ind docs portal for Bangladesh employee’s salary, IC AR & AP settlements, ect,.
  • Need to become a backup of Husky India existing accounts payable resource
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Preparation and submission of import goods and service documents, intercompany settlements with Banks
  • Assist in preparation of schedules of various tax assessments, appeals
  • Preparation of monthly tax deductions & payments, quarterly return filings
  • Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for various audits
  • Work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies
  • Variance analysis of expenses and preparing their schedules
  • Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by Finance Manager
  • Internal Audit support

Educational Qualifications

  • B.com or M.com, MBA with Minimum 3 to 6 Years of experience
  • Pursuing CA or Intermediate CA
  • Preferable experience with Manufacturing sector
  • Strong communication skills
