The Finance Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, budgeting, and decision support. This individual will analyze financial data, create reports, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Basic analysis of country MMR for all the relevant commodities and follow up with Country FCs for the responses.
  • Preparation of internal MIS based on country MMRs and matching the same with Group MIS for alignment on Monthly basis.
  • Analysis and consolidation of weekly working capital and follow up with country finance controller
  • Preparation of cashflows for commodities on monthly basis to share the same with Treasury team. This requires co-ordination with the traders.
  • Analysis and reasoning for TCB vs Actual Cost variance during the Procurement season for respective commodities.
  • Traffic file analysis and ensuring all entries are properly recorded. Provisions working on MoM basis and tracking of same. Co-ordination with Ops team for support needed.
  • Preparation of basic files for Budgets along with analysis of previous two years actuals and ongoing year Forecast. Also, support for preparation of budget presentations and Hyperion uploads.
  • Follow up with the Respective Country teams for the compliance to ensure all compliances are taken care along with support on audits, if needed.
  • Support for tax and TP planning for the Relevant commodities and the respective countries in scope.
  • Preparation of MMR for country specific entities.
  • Co-ordination with consultants in countries for monthly reporting, closing of entities, compliances, audits and other requirements.
  • Support to Finance Controller on specific projects e.g. Shareholding Restructuring, Preparation of file for Lines, Business Analysis etc.
  • Any other ad hoc requirements


Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business (CA/Inter CA would be preferable)
  • Minimum experience 5+ years preferably with a multi-national organisation
  • Experience of working in ERP D365 (Optional), Tally and others
