Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the assigned regions (Gurgaon and Faridabad).
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Provide technical consultations to clients and recommend appropriate genset solutions based on their requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and offer on-site support.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
- Technical Support & Solutions:
- Resolve customer queries regarding genset products, specifications, and applications.
- Offer post-sales technical assistance to ensure seamless installation and operation of gensets.
- Work closely with the engineering and service teams to provide customized solutions for clients.
- Ensure timely and effective follow-up with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
- Market Research & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to stay competitive in the industry.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for business growth.
- Education: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (must be from a recognized university).
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in field sales, specifically within the genset/power generation industry.
- Proven track record in handling client queries and providing technical support.
- Strong understanding of genset products, technical specifications, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical aptitude.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned regions (Gurgaon and Faridabad).
- Experience with genset installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on B2B sales.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.
