Facilities Officer

Qatar Airways is looking for a Facilities Officer to join our Global Business Services function in Ahmedabad, India.

The position will be responsible to ensure correct functionality, cleaning, comfort, safety & efficiency of built environment, assist to set right facility management strategy for CDC, oversee day-to-day operations of CDC office, manage administrative staff, office supplies, reception & guest experience.

Responsibilities:

· Co-ordinating with & providing effective guidance to service provider/ managed services agency for schedule maintenance activity to UPS, Generators, HVAC system etc.

· Ensuring regular inspection & schedule maintenance for T&A machines, CCTV cameras etc.

· Resolving staff queries or requests pertaining to facilities/ maintenance,

· Assisting in BOQ for any project work related to civil & MEP installation,

· Ensuring regular check & optimum functioning of all electrical low voltage (ELV) system & rectification in case of any fault,

· Ensuring regular inspection & schedule maintenance of fire & safety system by service provider,

· Ensuring all aspects of employees safety & security are covered 24x7

· Ensuring safe & secure transportation of females working in evening/ night shift,

· Reporting safety, security, hygiene or any other related issue to FM provider & submitting report in QR system

· Co-ordinating with service provider for maintenance of premises protection, alarm systems, intercom systems, video surveillance & quality of working environment

· Processing end to end procurements/ contracts with regards to facilities

· Ensuring renewal of contracts/ PO relating to IT & facilities

· Ensuring local & QR compliance related to OHSAS including fire safety,

· Ensuring maintenance of sufficient stock at building level to manage daily operations

· Supervision of administrative staff & divide responsibilities.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with 3+ years of job-related experience

· Experience as administrative co-ordinator

· Experience of manpower management in facilities management contractors
