Business Title : Facility Assistant

Role

The Role of the Assistant in Facility department is to assist in maintaining daily operations of the facility including site equipment operation as needed. To drive the Organization to meet the required KPI’s.

Academic Qualification / Job Qualification

• Diploma in EEE/ECE/E & I/Mech with more than 4 - 6 years experience in the similar field.
  
  

Skills / Competence Required To Perform The Job

• Analytical and precise working skill.
• Knowledge on Electrical distribution system, utility equipments like MPCC panels, UPS, Air
  
  

compressor, Vacuum Pumps, HVAC system, Pipe and pumping system / DG sets etc.

• Having good knowledge on safety, environment and basic statutory requirements.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Attending breakdowns.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance work.
• Periodical inspection and Log recording as per defined frequency.
• Analyzing the recorded data and highlighting to the supervisor in case of any abnormalities.
• Assists with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility.
• Supports maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance
  
  

duties such as furniture moves, electrical projects, spot painting and / or cleaning lights material.

• Works with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs.
• Operates site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary.
• May perform other activities such as audio-visual (AV) set up for meetings or conferences, inter-
  
  

office mail deliveries, waste paper recycling and stocking of employee break areas.

• Active participation in EHS related activities like Identification of aspects and Impacts, HIRA,
  
  

Emergency preparedness, continuous improvements etc and enable to report about hazardous

situations to respective supervisor / department managers as required.

Authority

• Authorized to take quick and correct decisions with operations of physical facility when ever an
  
  

abnormal situation or events is noticed and identified.
