Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Fabrication Engineer to join our team. As a Fabrication Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and assembling metal components for various projects. This is a full-time position based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in fabrication engineering, with a strong passion for precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in fabrication engineering
• Strong knowledge of blueprints, materials specification, and fabrication techniques
• Proficient in operating flame cutting equipment and welding equipment
• Ability to prepare metal components accurately and efficiently
• Excellent coordination and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
  
  

Roles And Responsibilities

• Design and develop fabrication plans based on project specifications
• Prepare detailed blueprints and materials specifications for metal components
• Operate flame cutting equipment and welding equipment to fabricate metal parts
• Assemble and fit fabricated metal components using various techniques
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of fabricated components through meticulous inspection and testing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project success
• Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues and discrepancies
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and regulations
• Document and report project progress and any deviations from the original plan
