EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D And A) – MDM Semarchy – Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Semarchy Developer to lead and manage our Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance initiatives using the Semarchy xDM platform. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of Semarchy’s capabilities, including data modeling, orchestration, and workflow management, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions in a complex environment

Roles and responisibilties:

• Build and manage data models in Semarchy xDM, defining entities, attributes, and relationships based on business requirements.
• Set up and maintain master data entities, hierarchies, and business rules to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• 8+ years of experience is industry experience.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and integration.
• Use Semarchy’s data quality tools to profile, cleanse, and monitor data, maintaining data integrity.
• Implement match and merge rules to identify and merge duplicate records, using survivorship rules to create golden records.
• Customize Semarchy’s Business and Application Views to create user-friendly interfaces for data stewards and business users.
• Design and configure workflows for data validation, approval, and stewardship to automate and streamline processes.
• Manage complex data hierarchies, such as customer or product hierarchies, to track relationships between master data records.
• Work with integration teams to connect Semarchy with other systems using APIs, ETL processes, and SQL scripts.
• Continuously monitor and optimize Semarchy’s performance to handle large data volumes efficiently.
• Lead system upgrades and feature implementations to leverage new capabilities and keep Semarchy up to date.
• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of Semarchy applications.
