Reporting to :Team Lead -Imports
- Preparation of pre shipment export documents for customs clearance, under various schemes, and verification of the check lists.
- Handling Free Of Cost Shipments.
- Sharing of SLI with freight forwarders/CHA/ Shipping lines/ Airlines.
- Preparation of post shipment export documents under LC/ Collection basis.
- Application and issuance of COO (Preferential and non-preferential).
- Data for issuance of BRCs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
- Application and issuance of Marine Insurance policy.
- Ensure compliance related to FEMA, DGFT, Customs and International Trade Regulations.
- Maintaining export MIS, keeping records in soft copies and hard copies of export documentation.
- Familiarity with DGFT notifications, EXIM policy, EPCG/Advance Licence/ DBK/ RODTEP, etc.
- Coordination with Internal teams, freight forwarders, CHAs, and Banks.
- Vendor Bill Booking and Payment Tracking (vendor invoices and monitor payment status to ensure timely clearance and maintain financial compliance).
- MS Office proficiency (Especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to use customs/export software/portals.
- Systems Use: ICEGATE, E‑Sanchit portals, document management tools.
- Shipment Tracking: Logistics planning, status updates, issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational skills, time management, multitasking & problem solving under deadlines.
- Self-starter mindset, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
