Job Description
HSE compliance as per DPW standard: SOPs & Risk analysis register, Business continuity plan need to be able to outline.
Report any hazards to the HSE team and work on identifying root causes and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure timely turnaround (TAT) of carting vehicle unloading operations.
Allocate jobs effectively to labourers, ensuring maximum allocation to local labour as per policy.
Accurately enter shipping bill data into the CFS system, maintaining zero error tolerance.
Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) guidelines set by the company and line manager.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), review and update them periodically in alignment with the line manager.
Allocate warehouse space in accordance with reservations and management instructions.
Coordinate with agents to receive stuffing plans and facilitate the release of Container Load Plans (CLPs).
Liaise with customs for registration of CLPs on the ICEGATE portal.
Ensure containers are stuffed within the defined TAT, avoiding any cross stuffing.
Maintain zero tolerance for cargo damage and pilferage within the warehouse.
Monitor longstanding cargo and follow up with customers to ensure timely clearance.
Keep operational costs under control and propose/implement cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness by ensuring housekeeping activities are conducted as per the provided checklist.
