Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management:
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and management of project data, including budgets, schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all information systems.
  • Implement and maintain databases and information systems used for project management and reporting.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Develop and generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project performance, including cost, schedule, and resource utilization.
  • Analyse project data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Design and implement dashboards and visualizations to communicate project status and key metrics to stakeholders.
  • System Management:
  • Manage and support project management software and tools used for scheduling, budgeting, and tracking progress.
  • Ensure that information systems are functioning correctly and address any technical issues or user concerns.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new functionalities.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for improving information management processes and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures for data management and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their information needs and ensure systems meet those needs.
  • Provide training and support to project team members on the use of information systems and reporting tools.
  • Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure that all information systems and data management practices comply with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive project information.
  • Project Support:
  • Assist with project planning and execution by providing data and insights that support project management activities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants as needed for system integration or troubleshooting.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in database management and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
