ETL Test Engineer - 100% Remote

Job Title: ETL Test Engineer

Location - 100% Remote. The initial three days should be spent on-site for orientation.

Position Type: Contracting

Duration: 12 Months

Pay rate: 60K - 90 KPM

Role Description (expectation/attributes from the resource/ in terms of contribution in the specific role )

"Analyze, test, and validate ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and SQL queries to validate data transformations.

Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems.

Validate incremental and full-load data processing.

Validate inbound and outbound file processing (CSV, JSON, XML, etc.).

Perform integrity checks to ensure completeness and correctness of processed files.

Monitor and troubleshoot file ingestion failures.

Ensure successful integration of files into databases."



Technical Competencies

"Hands-on experience with ETL testing tools

Strong SQL skills

Experience with file processing (CSV, XML, JSON) and data validation techniques.

Familiarity with scripting languages

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus."
