Erection (Fabrication) Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Offshore Piling Engineer with specialized expertise in the launching of girders using pulling and pushing methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the installation of piles and the launching of girders for offshore structures. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, extensive field experience, and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Design:
• Develop detailed engineering plans and designs for offshore piling and girder launching projects.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the best methods and materials.
• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Technical Expertise:
• Utilize pulling and pushing methods for the effective launching of girders in offshore environments.
• Ensure the structural integrity and stability of piles and girders throughout the installation process.
• Implement best practices and innovative techniques to optimize project efficiency and safety.
• Project Management:
• Lead and manage offshore piling and girder launching projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, surveyors, and construction crews.
• Monitor project progress, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for offshore operations.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant industry standards and legal requirements.
• Quality Control:
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of piling and girder installations.
• Perform technical evaluations and inspections to verify project specifications and standards.
• Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise during the project.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including engineering reports, progress updates, and technical drawings.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare post-project evaluations and recommendations for future improvements.
