About the Role

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager who can lead from the front, write scalable code when needed, and mentor high-performing teams?

We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to guide a full-stack development team building modern, AWS-native web applications. You’ll drive execution, own delivery pipelines, and set the technical direction while fostering a culture of quality, speed, and collaboration.

This role offers the best of both worlds — leadership and technical impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of full-stack engineers (Node.js, CakePHP, React.js).
• Participate in hands-on coding, debugging, and architectural planning when required.
• Deliver and scale backend services (Node.js, CakePHP) and responsive frontends (React, HTML/CSS/JS).
• Oversee AWS-native deployments: EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Load Balancers & more.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub), branching strategies, and secure code deployments.
• Drive Agile/Scrum practices with structured tracking via JIRA
• Champion testing practices — unit testing, automation, and QA process alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, QA, and UI/UX.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–10 years of full-stack development experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong technical skills in Node.js, CakePHP, React.js, and core frontend technologies.
• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and scalable cloud-native deployments.
• Experience in CI/CD, version control, and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, PHPUnit).
• Solid grasp of Linux environments, shell scripting, and cloud debugging.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and team management capabilities.
• Agile mindset with hands-on project delivery using tools like JIRA.
