Job Description
As a key member of the IT Operations team, you’ll be accountable for the design and evolution of the ServiceNow platform to meet growing business requirements. Reporting to the Manager of IT Service Management, you will grow as you oversee platform governance and help mentor Level 2 support, while still retaining hands-on access for development and advanced troubleshooting.

Job Description

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Lists in order of importance)
Development & Configuration
- Meet real business needs with smart, scalable solutions, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for real-world solutions with work estimates and effectively implement the enhancements.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex challenges.
- Guide others on lower-complexity challenges and best practices.
- Maintain knowledge documentation about ServiceNow.
- Define and enforce standards, architectural and process guidelines.
- Govern enhancements, favoring configuration changes over customizations.
- Turn data into action by leveraging performance analytics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and support data-driven decisions.
- Help others automate what matters most, eliminate manual processes and boost efficiency.
- Enable seamless integrations between ServiceNow and other business systems using tools like REST, SOAP, XML, AJAX, and more.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- 2+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Hands-on Experience working with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, API’s and Service Portal is required.
- Certified in ITIL V3 or above is highly desired.
- Experience with managing CMDB is highly desired.
- Experience with web pages and widgets using Bootstrap and AngularJS is highly desired.
- Experience with third-party integrations and interfaces between is desired.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification and any one of the mainline implementation certifications is a plus.
- Experience with ITOM and HRSD modules is a plus.
- Knowledge of how to architect data structures to create applications.
- Ability to develop and modify a majority of the following: workflows, forms, lists, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, menus, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, ACLs, UI Pages, and scripted REST APIs.
- Ability to perform Java scripting, debugging, and deployment using update sets is required.
- Reporting and Dashboard creation skills.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner and build strong relationships with business units, IT teams, and executives.
- Ability to manage small projects, including timelines, resources, risks, and budget.
